He has the respect and reverence of the entire assembly. What is the reason that he now bows to a pile of dried bones ? "

One day, at mealtime, the World Honoured One put on His robe, took His bowl, and entered the great town of Sravasti to beg for His food. After He had begged from door to door, He returned to His place. When He had taken His meal, He put away His robe and bowl, washed His feet, arranged His seat and sat down.

At the time, the elder Subhuti who was in the assembly, rose from his seat, uncovered his right shoulder, knelt upon his right knee, respectfully joined the palms of his hands and said to the Buddha : " It is very rare, O World Honoured One ! How well the Tathagata protects and thinks of all Bodhisattvas; how well He instructs all the Bodhisattvas. "

" O World Honoured One, when virtuous men or women develop the supreme-enlightenment mind.....

《 THE HEART SUTRA 》------When Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara practised the profound Prajna-paramita, he investigated and perceived that the five aggregates ( skandhas ) were non-existent thus securing his deliverance from all distress and sufferings.

Sariputra ! Form ( rupa ) does not differ from the void ( sunya ), nor the void from form. Form is identical with void (and) void is identical with form . So also are reception (vedana), conception (sanjna), mental function (samskara) and consciousness (vijnana) in relation to the void.

Ssriputra, the void (sunya), of all things is not created, not annihilated, not impure, not pure, not increasing and not decreasing.....

For the Final Catastrophe has arrived.
Hurriedly save the world, humans and all beings.
Lao-Mu I said when the Final Catastrophe arrives, the entire world will face massive destructions which cannot be redeemed by humans.

People are so lost that they forget about returning Home; So Lao-Mu My heart is broken.
Lao-Mu I hope all beings will quickly return to my side.
Come back to My side, Lao-Mu I will be very happy.
It is up to all beings to choose either happiness or sadness.
Lao-Mu I am worried as well as grievous Because the arrival of the Final Catastrophe will bring disasters to this world; all beings will be in anguish.

Lao-Mu I hope the entire world can be saved, but who can save all beings and the whole world ?

If you turn to heresies, Lao-Mu I will be very sad.
Therefore, Lao-MuI want to save the souls of all beings.

This is the transcription of General Douglas MacArthur's revelation of his having attained the Tao. The ceremony was held at the Shun Te Temple on the evening of November 12th, 1979 which was a hundred days after the General, then an immortal of space, had received the Tao with the assistance of his benefactor, Master Wang.

The MacArthur said : I , Noble Guard of the East, MacArthur, have the honour to receive with reverence the imperial edict from our Heavenly Mother to proceed to the altar of Shun Te Temple in attendance to his honour , Kuan Yurn Chang and to pay respect to our Heavenly Mother, our Distinguished Teachers and my Gracious Benefactor. I was born in the United States of America and I held the post of General of the army.
I fought in both world wars.
I was appointed Commander in chief of the United States Army Forces in Asia.
I have had the experience of battling through wars both great and small.
I was always mentally alert and dared not be idle for a moment , as a word of command from me determined success or failure.
Initially, I was Chief of staff and High Commissioner of the, Philippines.....

Afterwards, the Buddha asked Bodhisattva Manjushri to evaluate what had been said. Manjushri pointed out that Kuan-Yin's way of cultivation realization through hearing was best suited for the people of this world .

To a compulsive gambler, his reality is that one can only acquire wealth and be rich by taking chances. Because people can be so attached to their own points of view...
